Our Process
There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes when we turn unpolished stones into countertops fit for your home. We made this page to help you understand a little about how we do things as you consider your upcoming project.
Consultation
The first thing we do is reach out to you. The consultation process helps our skilled team point you in the right direction, including stone options, trending styles, sinks, and more. We take pride in our service and attention to detail in everything. Our team provides personalized, in-depth consultations to move your project in the direction you want.

Templating
Templating is when one of our team members comes to your home to measure the space where we will be installing stone. We use a mix of laser and manual measuring to make sure we get every little detail correct. Templating helps create a design for your space that we can use to make your countertops fit just right.
Programming
After we template your space, our team puts all of those details into our programming system. This system allows us to plot out how your countertops will get cut within the slab. Without programming, we wouldn't be able to get the perfect result every time. It's a tricky part of the process on our end, but one that we're experts in.

Fabrication
With the project programmed to a specific slab, our team then uses a robot to make every cut. This robot is the same one used in Detroit automotive assembly lines, but with circular and water jet saws on the arm. Then, our team will polish your stone and make sure it is ready for installation.

Installation
The last step of our process requires the most muscle. It entails our team bringing your countertop and installing it carefully. Countertops need careful handling due to their weight and the small margin of error. That's why our team doesn't cut corners and handles your countertop with care throughout the delivery and installation. Our team knows how to fit a countertop perfectly to cabinets, islands, and more to leave a perfect finished product.
